One module does the reading
Make's HTTP module sends the attachment or file to ParserBee. The response comes back parsed, with every field ready to map.
Add one HTTP module to any Make scenario to send a file to ParserBee and get the fields back as data you can map into Google Sheets, Xero, QuickBooks, Slack or any other Make app.

Point an Iterator at the line items and each one becomes its own bundle, so Google Sheets gets a row per line.
Start from Gmail, Outlook, Google Drive, Dropbox or a webhook, and send the fields to any app Make connects to.
A Parser Template is the list of fields you want from each invoice. Upload one sample and the AI suggests the fields, or start from a ready-made one in the template library. Every supplier's layout then comes back with the same fields.

Start with the app your documents arrive in. For email, add Gmail > Watch emails, then a Flow Control > Iterator over the email's attachments so each file runs on its own.
For a folder, use your cloud drive's watch module (for example Google Drive > Watch files in a folder) followed by its download module.
Add HTTP > Make a request and set:
https://app.parserbee.com/api/v1/extract, Method: POSTx-api-key, value your API key (Settings > API Keys in ParserBee)template_id and a file field file mapped to the file name and data from the step beforeClick Run once with a real invoice. Make learns the shape of the response, and your fields appear under data in the mapping panel.
Add Google Sheets > Add a row (or Xero, QuickBooks, Airtable, Slack) and map the fields. For one row per line item, put an Iterator over data.line_items first. Turn the scenario on and set its schedule.
Send us one sample document and tell us where the data should go. Our team builds the Parser Template, connects Make and checks the first rows with you, end to end. Stuck halfway? Send a message and we pick it up from exactly where you are.

Create a free account, copy your API key and add one HTTP module. 25 free pages, no credit card.
If the document is already at a public link (a form upload, a CDN, your own system), set Body type to Raw, the content type to JSON, and send the link in file_url. The link must open without a login and return the file itself.
{
"template_id": "your_template_id",
"file_url": "https://example.com/invoice.pdf"
}Without it, Make returns the response as one block of text and you cannot map the fields.
ParserBee answers 402 INSUFFICIENT_CREDITS when the balance is empty. Add an error handler to the HTTP module to alert you.
Use a Router with a filter per document type, and a ParserBee HTTP module with its own template_id on each route.
PDF, PNG, JPG, WebP and HEIC files up to 50 MB. Each extraction costs 1 page credit per page.
Each module run counts as a Make operation on your Make plan, separate from ParserBee page credits.
To fill a sheet or a base, the built-in Google Sheets and Airtable integrations need no Make scenario at all.
Not yet. Make's built-in HTTP module calls the ParserBee API directly and gives you every field, so the scenario works the same way an app would.
Yes. ParserBee does the OCR, so scanned PDFs and phone photos come back with the same fields as digital PDFs.
Add an Iterator over data.line_items after the HTTP module. Each line becomes its own bundle, and Google Sheets > Add a row runs once per line.
Each extraction uses ParserBee page credits: 1 per page. New accounts get 25 free pages, and paid plans start at $29 per month; see pricing. Make counts its own operations on your Make plan.
