ParserBee (“we”, “our”, or “us”) is a document parsing and data extraction platform. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect your personal information when you access or use our website, dashboard, and API (collectively, the “Service”).

By creating an account or using the Service, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy.

Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information to provide and improve the Service:

Account Information When you register, we collect your email address and password. You may also choose to provide additional profile details such as your name, job role, department, and website URL.

Billing Information When you subscribe to a paid plan, your payment is processed by a third-party payment processor. We store identifiers necessary to manage your subscription (such as customer and subscription IDs) but we do not directly collect or store your credit card number, CVV, or other sensitive payment card details.

Documents and Uploaded Files When you use ParserBee to extract data, your uploaded documents (PDFs, images, etc.) are transmitted to third-party AI service providers for processing. We do not permanently store your uploaded files after processing is complete. The structured output data is stored in your account for your reference.

Usage Data We automatically collect information about how you interact with the Service, including API request logs, template configurations, extraction history, credit consumption, and transaction records.

API Credentials If you generate an API key for programmatic access, the key is stored securely and associated with your account.

How We Use Your Information

We use collected information to:

  • Create, authenticate, and manage your account.
  • Process and fulfil your document extraction requests.
  • Manage your subscription, billing cycle, and credit balance.
  • Send transactional communications such as account verification emails and billing notifications.
  • Display usage analytics and activity history within your dashboard.
  • Provision and manage API credentials for your integrations.
  • Detect, prevent, and address security issues, fraud, or technical problems.
  • Improve the reliability, performance, and functionality of the Service.

How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal data. We may share information with third parties only in the following circumstances:

Service Providers We work with trusted third-party providers for essential functions such as cloud hosting, payment processing, email delivery, and AI-powered document processing. These providers are contractually obligated to use your data solely for the purposes of delivering services to us and are bound by appropriate data protection commitments.

Legal Requirements We may disclose your information if required to do so by law, regulation, legal process, or enforceable government request, or where we believe disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, your safety, or the safety of others.

Business Transfers In the event of a merger, acquisition, reorganisation, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you of any such change and any choices you may have regarding your data.

Data Storage and Security

We take commercially reasonable measures to protect your personal information, including:

  • Passwords are cryptographically hashed and never stored in plain text.
  • API keys are generated using cryptographically secure methods.
  • Verification tokens are time-limited and expire automatically.
  • All data transmitted between your device and our servers is encrypted via HTTPS/TLS.
  • Database access is restricted and protected by authentication controls.

No system is entirely secure. While we strive to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security against every possible threat.

Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your account remains active or as needed to provide the Service. Uploaded documents are processed in real time and are not retained after extraction is complete.

If you delete your account, we will remove your personal data within a reasonable timeframe, except where retention is required for legal, regulatory, or legitimate business purposes.

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

  • Access your personal data through your dashboard at any time.
  • Update your profile information via the Settings page.
  • Request deletion of your account and associated data.
  • Request a copy of your data in a portable, machine-readable format.

Children’s Privacy

The Service is not directed at individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we learn that we have inadvertently collected data from a minor, we will take prompt steps to delete it.
